Bitter were the chocolates to her sweet tooth
as she chucked them into her mouth
absentmindedly
just passing her precious time away

Several trains of thought destination collision course
as she sent them on their way
accidentally
still convinced the barings are correct
the timing in her tables should connect

A surprising visit to her youthful self
as she rang the doorbell and
evidently
no-one's answering or so it seems
the strangest things ring true throughout her dreams

She's not too sure this is the place
but it's all there is
as she seeks the here and now
habitually
