Artist Note

This song is built around a single, simple reminder: “සිහියෙන් ඉන්න” — be with awareness.
Each line reflects the natural drift of the mind — running where the feet once ran, moving with old habits, carried away by thought and mood. But every drift becomes a chance to return, to notice, to observe the moment as it is.

The progressive flow of the music mirrors this movement of the mind: rising, shifting, echoing, then settling back into presence. It is not about forcing silence but about witnessing how thoughts arise and fade. In this way, every beat, every pause, becomes an opening into stillness.

The song is a practice in itself: listening with awareness, feeling with awareness, and returning to awareness. A reminder that in the dance of thoughts and sensations, liberation begins with observation.


At the end of this version , the shifting tempo itself becomes part of the reflection. By altering rhythm mid-note, the listener’s perception of the voice is unsettled — what seemed like “someone” singing is revealed as just sound, just vibration. The familiar sense that a voice must belong to a person begins to blur.

This  technical blend showcase how Dhamma can be mirrored in audio form. It shows how easily the mind generates the thought of “a person” or “a self” behind an experience, even when all that is truly present is sound, changing and passing. In this way, the music becomes a direct demonstration: the “singer” is only a momentary construction, and awareness is free when we see through that veil.

Steve Bug & Langenberg - PARADISE SOLD REMIXES

Steve Bug and Langenberg's 'Paradise Sold' album dropped earlier this year to quite a rapturous reception. It's hardly surprising that two of the more prolific and passionate men in house music would pull together such a complete album of contemporary house music.

Happily, the guys have now curated a fine EP of remixes from friends and family to take some of the album's key moments into new directions.

'Search For Xur' gets the treatment by Rodriguez Jr., bringing a very slinky, late night deepness to the original courtesy of a bubbling bassline and emotionally charged synth pads.

'Senior Elfo' is flipped by fellow Germans Frankey & Sandrino, whose knowledge of the deeper end of the tech house spectrum gives the track an epic openness.

Perlon and Panorama Bar legend Cassy drops her Full On Dub Mix of album highlight 'Chord Cluster', and delivers a slick, driving burner for the floor.

Similarly, 'A Touch Of Detroit' is re-rubbed by Ostgut Ton's Virginia with her Broken Touch Of Detroit mix, which channels classic motor city techno legends to produce a near perfect slice of hi tech soul.

Hailing from Brunswick, Melbourne, James and Peter Isaacs are the brotherly duo Donald’s House. They’ve been making music for around eight years.Without fail, every lunch time when making music, they’ll go to Sesame & Soul on Lygon St and order a cheese pie and Za’atar bread. James usually orders a coke zero as well.

This EP here is a collection of tracks written over a three year period. There’s a seven year age gap between the two. Pete got James into dance music by taking him to one of his parties that featured Pearson Sound and Mark Pritchard.After that, they started making music together. James is a trained Jazz guitarist, while Pete has been buying and playing records for about 15 years.

They’ve released two tracks with Sydney label Ken Oath. One on their debut sampler and one on their ambient tape. 
They previously lived in London, where they regularly attended CDR. This is where they met the dj Iona, who was the catalyst for the whole release and a mutual friend of theirs and Nick Höppner.

Taking influence from Paradise Garage styled disco, early 90s House, Italo and anything with a DMX drum kit, their take on dance dance music is as refreshing as it is familiar.You’ll often hear M1 solos, chords and stabs, juxtaposed against Phil Collins styled stadium drums, and groovy Seinfeld basslines that just beg your body to move.
