Dimensions Recordings’ fifth release sees the label step into the world of the longplayer with Istanbul native, https://soundcloud.com/kerceya’s self titled debut album.

Kerem has already been winning fans of the ilk of Gilles Peterson through his output of dusty house and tripped out beats in the last few years, and of course via his Getdownsoclose offering on Dimensions’ debut release. His debut album however, sees Kerem deliver a mature piece of work, bright and timeless, equally effective in the club as it is at home and brimming with ideas, hooks and must have songs.

Studio Pimp, one of the most energic and groovy tracks from the LP embodies the dance aspect of Kerem into a quick and fast ride support by the loud bassline.

Kerem Akdag’s debut album clearly sets out the stall for a man who has a lot to say and has the capability to say it loud!

“That Familiar Feel” is indeed familiar. Sune's trademark snappy drum programming starts things off, coupled with a filtered bassline. As the lowpass is lifted, the sample reveals playful, jazzy rhodes action and a seductive brass section. It’s a swingy affair that will certainly please fans of the Swedish producer’s sound.

Modified Man brings another diverse bunch of tracks together for Set 3 with bubbling basslines, sizzling, expansive synth sounds and heavy, broken and percussive beats. SBJAMZ return with 002; an EP from Australian talent Loure, who utilises live session musicians to create four tracks of Jazz influenced Deep House. 

We feature ‘Hope Circuitry’, a twin movement opening track that starts the EP off with a dreamy introduction of gospel vocals and a soulful piano. Loure then flips the switch on the track and roots it firmly on thedancefloor with a big funk bassline and re-chopped samples of itself.
