The two dirty birdies from Hageby are back with the Back In The Day EP! The title cut flips a classic Brooklyn funk sample into a deep house burner, Last Night really gives it to us (baby), and Estrelar showcases the groovy disco side of the 'Two. Rounding out the EP is a Daniel Leseman remix that reworks the title track into a completely fresh production, bringing the deep dance floor heat for which the FOUK member and Outplay Records co-boss is known. Panthera Krause's music-making habits teeter on the precipice between moody and outright fun house; a technique which has done wonders for the Leipzig melody maker since his early years. The mould was set with his weekly podcasts and 2012's "Cassandra" on local imprint O*RS. Then further solidified via the Yorikke EP in 2013 - a three-track mid-summer trip on Riotvan - and the delights of his Rules EP (2014) on Lobster Theremin and the Laika EP (2014) on Riotvan.

The Uncanny Valley connection was established during the back end of last year. The pumping “Coochie” formed part of the Uncanny Valley: Five Years On Parole release and was quite the foretaste. And here we arrive at "Umami"; a lesson in colourful and let-loose four-to-the-floor which first saw light on our recent Dresden show with the UV fam.

We’re glad to introduce you to the very first release from Moony Me on In The Box Records. This Vienna based artist has already shown his talent with a recent release on Uncanny Valley alongside Max Graef, S3A and Cuthead.
We can confirm is brilliant skills for sampling on this EP as he handles a beautiful smooth sample of strings and plays around with a nice rhodes and echo voices. @jacquesrenault gave to his remix a more punchy and powerful interpretation, a house direction.

PREMIERE: Le Hutin - My Valentina [De La Groove]

Originally from Malaga, Spain, Carlo is the latest addition to the Suol family and he is bringing some much needed summer vibes to his current home Berlin with his ‘Tres’ EP.

Carlo’s music, which has already found favour with the likes of Moodyman and Session Victim, is all about that special feeling of dancing to House music on a sunny day – just like at Suol’s weekly ‘Hallo Montag’ sessions, where a few months of seemingly never-ending outdoor DJ sets first sparked off our love story with Carlo.

Carlo turns up the disco for the final track of the EP, at least as far as the bouncing bass of ‘Biznaga’ goes.  The rest is pure House music delight with a pitched-up nostalgically goosebump-inducing vocal as the star of the show.
