It's winter in Brazil, but the sounds from Gop Towers Vol. 4 are quite warm. Keeping the tradition of our last compilations, we invited Joutro Mundo from Rio de Janeiro to complete the team with his "Who Do You Love". The other 3 tracks are business as usual... Mexican edit king Hotmood opens up the flood gates with his floor-friendly disco infused "Illusions" that's sure to make the body rock! Following suit is Texas native and rework legend The Silver Rider with the jazzy funk laden joint "El Rey". Batting third is label head Cloak Dagger with "Stokely's Lament" an undulating  deep disco protest anthem ripe for the times. UK based rework veteran Chuggin Edits fills out the vibe with his lovely re-edit take on "Nights Over Essex" a subtle and tasteful approach to this disco classic!

Haunted by the ternary rhythms of the band from Mauritius, Babani Soundsystem, Kraut adds his unique electronic touch to turn this track into a dancefloor masterpiece. KR∆UT is the moniker of Amsterdam’s household name Daniel Zuur. With this alter ego he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion. Daniel has developed an exceptional rhythm and sound that no label will do justice. 

Babani Soundsystem defends a sound that blends Indian Ocean’s traditional rhythms and new electronic influences. The track title translated from Mauritian Creole, “Spooky stories”, evokes the island’s urban legends about night creatures in children tales. It also metaphorically describes night gatherings where spirits are awoken by the sound of traditional percussions. The latter are omnipresent, driven by a bewitching bassline and complemented by obscure synths. This pack includes remixes from Alma Negra featuring Celine Huber and Sunken Cages.
