The Learning Curve (2012 - 2014)

I wrote this track whilst travelling in Nepal earlier this year & finally got round to finishing it now I'm back home. This is me learning to create environment, I hope you like! 

As this is only my fourth self-produced track, all feedback is very much appreciated! Enjoy!

Another track I wrote whilst in Nepal, kinda dark at times, yet filled with light...I guess like me a little, lol, maybe the music is a mirror of sorts

A ceremony mix for going deep on inner journeys, w/wo plant medicine. 

Dedicated to Norberto Jurasek, my best friend and wisest teacher, who 3 years ago left this world. I am so grateful for having known him and for the love and wisdom he has shown me. Norberto, From my 1st workshop with him in October 2015: "We all have our work to do. And here together in these workshops we have a great opportunity to do a lot of work with the help of our medicine. But there is a parallel growth. Beyond fixing this and that in your life, we grow by experiencing the love, the thing beyond death. You cannot hold onto it. It must be experienced again and again. But by getting that experience again and again, you build the trust : that love is IT, and always will be. And maybe that is this lesson which is the deepest of all". ALWAYS dear Norberto. LOVE and beyond death! In the end, when these bones are only bones, all that matters is how much we gave and how much we loved. And you gave and loved so much dearest Norberto.

Gratitude to the Plant Spirits (Meditative Moments IV)

In those challenging times of transformation and chaotic shifts we have to be aware that we are co-creating our reality collectively and individually from the inside out. Every thought and every emotion creates a frequency that interacts with the quantum field which weaves new realities into the holographic projection.

Whenever we manage to be at peace and ease within in the midst of chaos in the outside world we contribute to the upliftment of the vibration which has a positive effect not just for the individual but for the collective.

May those sounds and frequencies help you to find strength and peace within. May you remember and activate your divine nature and may you harmonically resonate with the beauty, perfection and balance that is encoded in those vibrations.

Every sound in this Sound Journey is tuned to A = 444 Hz which results in a C vibrating at 528 Hz exactly. It contains solfeggio tuning fork recordings as well as pure tone frequency drones.

Works of the Weaver 21 (Ambient/Cinematic Mix)

During the Wanderlust Festival in Oahu 2019, Amani was invited to play for 3 relaxing yoga classes taught by Amanda Giacomini. These 3 sets are each different as they were following the flow of the class in the moment and the stories that Amanda weaves into her classes. The sets feature a blend of music from the Liquid Bloom and Desert Dwellers catalog, as well as a few gems from Shamans Dream, Dead Can Dance, Ishq, Shantala, and a few other yoga inspired artists.

My Musical Journey
----------------------------

After a lifetime immersed in trance & various forms of electronic music, my creative journey began back in 2009 when I started learning to DJ. Not long after I began playing PsyTrance sets for the MerKaBa Tribe parties & festivals across Jersey & the Channel Islands, which felt amazing, seeing so many happy smiley people, dancing, laughing, connecting….I wanted more :)

Pretty soon after, I turned my focus towards my real passion, the wonderful world of psychedelic chill out. This music has done so much good for me, I struggle to put this into words. It has lifted my broken spirit more times than I can remember, in ways that feel deeply healing & nourishing. This was it, this was what I wanted to focus on, creating musical journeys that help heal & nourish us, help recalibrate & come back to ourselves in this crazy, crazy world. If I can even help one person then that is enough.

My ‘Dreamtime Diaries’ series of psybient / psychill mixes is a great example of this work, covering all facets of the psybient world. Around 2017, I lowered the tempo again, creating ambient journeys for use in mediation, yoga, treatments, ceremony or any other situation where genuine immersion into the moment is required.

Around 2012, I branched out into music production. In 2016 I released my debut EP, and have been creating weird or wonderful sounds since then. Also in 2016, I co-founded the Unity Tribe Collective which hosted local trance parties, with the intention of bringing the local community together. Currently I am enjoying playing a monthly chill out radio show for Widgeon Airwaves & am working towards my latest EP, which will hopefully be out later this year.
