We introduce Knowledge Protocol Engineering (KPE), a novel approach designed to enhance AI's capability beyond mere factual recall to practical, domain-specific execution. It argues that while current AI, like Large Language Models (LLMs), excels at memorizing information (often augmented by Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or RAG) and can utilize tools (agent systems), it frequently lacks the procedural know-how of human experts, leading to unreliable outcomes in complex tasks. KPE proposes a systematic method to translate human expertise—found in manuals and standard operating procedures—into machine-executable protocols, essentially teaching AI "how to think" within a specific field. This involves extracting expert knowledge, encoding it into structured templates, guiding the AI's execution of tasks based on these rules, and validating the output against predefined steps. The benefits of KPE include increased procedural precision, rapid specialization of AI without extensive retraining, enhanced transparency and auditability, and a shift in human roles towards "protocol engineering", where domain experts directly program AI behavior.

Le soutien et l'humour de sa grande soeur Odile aideront Naila à traverser l'une des journées les plus bizarres de sa vie.

Le jour où mon regard a changé

Alors qu'elle est en CM1, Margot fait la rencontre de Jules, un garçon qui devient vite son meilleur ami, puis son amoureux. Il l'invite à son anniversaire : c'est là que Margot rencontre Céline, l'autre amoureuse de Jules... Une fois passé le premier choc de la trahison, les deux filles décident de s'unir pour se livrer à quelques petites vengeances. C'est le début d'une grande amitié entre elles, et d'un rapprochement très inattendu entre leurs familles respectives.

As tech innovation, particularly in the field of AI, is increasingly focused on a few key players, the industries benefiting from these tools have also become more concentrated, which Carl Benedikt Frey says could weigh on growth. Frey is an associate professor of AI and Work at Oxford University, and his latest book, How Progress Ends, suggests that waves of technological and economic progress are often followed by stagnation. In this podcast, Frey says the concentration of AI-using industries will push the direction of technological change further towards automation rather than product innovation.
