The Hustlehoffs Long Arm Of The Raw

Here comes the new exciting release by ARIMA SOUL musical project from the Basque Country. 

In this case, a real vinyl collectors item, exactly a limited edition of 7" double single on vinyl 45 rpm. Including different songs of diverse styles, something characteristic of the ARIMA SOUL group, hence the title "Disco·Funk·Reggae·Dub" and with the indisputable and talented art&design by the great Txarly Brown from Barcelona. 

On side A of the first disc, we find a remix of the soulful song "Gu Andereak" taken to the realm of disco-funk, produced by the great DJ and producer VOODOOCUTS based in Berlin and specialized in revitalizing vintage sounds of jazz, soul, r&b, funk , afro, latino,... 

On side B of the first disc, we find a cover recently recorded by the group at Elkar estudioa, of the classic "Lady Day & John Coltrane" great song composed & performed by genius GIL SCOTT-HERON. 

On sides A and B of the second disc, we find “Amets” track featured on the group's first release, in this case a re-mixed vocal reggae song and its corresponding dub version, by the hand of ROBERTO SANCHEZ, undisputed master of Spanish Reggae & Dub sound, straight from his A-LONE ARK Muzik Studio in Cantabria (Spain).

Haven't dropped a mix in almost a year. Life has its way of pulling a deejay from his tables. Bogota got beats and Boiler Room sent the ol' Pipomixes to his mother's motherland to prove it. Classic night. Future beats and seamless blends. That is; until some lil Bogota hoppers shot-up the spot (video currently being held for ransom). I made like Carlito at the pool hall with his cousin; grabbed a flash drive; downloaded the mix, and was out the backdoor. Good thing Pachanga found work with Narcos. Hopefully, he won't tell Benny I uploaded the mix.  Doesn't matter anyway because the mix already hit the web. Anybody seen Gail? Shoutout to the folks at Boiler Room. Sorry about the mess.
