Della Zouch, the rabble-rousing alter-ego of a music industry baron, has allied with CitySeven Music to issue his dance manifesto, "Rebel".

Bouncing funk percussion and a jaunty Juno keyboard commentary, overhung with an ambient harmonic haze, forms the disco-tech backdrop to foxy neo-soul beat poetry. Instantly memorable and eminently remixable, "Rebel" gets specialised treatment from our associate masters:
Raxon racks up the tension with recursive rhythms and clipped impulses pitched against starry-eyed breakdowns. Respite comes from CitySeven stalwarts Radi and Keith's nocturnal cruise through the wordless title-sequence of an unmade movie, then Jimmy V, whose debut album is imminent on CitySeven, pumps out a typically sumptuous and supercharged send-off.

Here's a little edit that I did of the track 'Lies' by Chvrches. I used the remix by Tourist for the foundation of the edit and just wanted to make a house version as I loved the original and the vocal's great.

Della Zouch is a new pseudonym but the man behind the name is no stranger to house music. With an introduction to the scene firstly as a DJ some 12 years ago he then went on to work in A&R and promotion at some high profile labels. Now Della runs two of his own labels full time and his musical inspiration is channeled through ‘Della Zouch’.

His 1st productions have being snapped up by Kote Records and ALiVE Recording and with countless remixes due for release, it seems Della Zouch is a name you will be hearing a lot more in the coming months.

With DJ experience that spans the world, from super clubs in Miami, Amsterdam and Ibiza to lesser-traveled countries like Albania and Lithuania, from the vast expanse of Privilege and the Space to grimy underground basement clubs in Leeds, Manchester and London. Della Zouch is set to hit the ground running with the ability to backup his productions with his first found love in house music, DJing.
