For over a decade, COHN has been crafting his unique blend of house music. The DJ and producer, from London, combines crisp beats and rich synth lines to ignite speakers and dancefloors with his disco and Italo-infused creations. Now, he arrives at Bordello with a new EP, “Kafka in the Sheets”, featuring four tracks.

The EP kicks off with “Margiela in the Streets”. Driven by a steady snare and a pulsating arpeggiator, a soaring melody of analogue arcs sails skyward. “Balearic Sun” awakens the listener with birdsong and bongos. A relaxing, revitalising and re-energising experience, guiding hearts and minds through an audio oasis of light wind instruments and soothing samples.

The energy ramps up with the powerful “Uptown and Queens.” A HI-NRG-inspired rhythm is set to a steady march, delivering a workout of wry smiles and bold builds. The EP concludes with “Let’s Groove On”, a track that welcomes the dawn. Classic hi-hats and toms are garnished with a low whistle while juddering vocals push the track forward, making it the perfect last dance before sunrise.

Epicure Records is thrilled to announce its 19th release, featuring Italian artist Treasure Island.

Be Who You Want To Be is an hymn against the fears of diving into the deepest aspects of the self and an on the other hand an apology of the expression of the true self.

 The process of self-discovery may take time and it could be painful but it is essential to break the patterns, to achieve transparency and awareness with yourself and then give the best you can to the world.

Music and Dancing can be powerful tools to discover new ways of thinking and connect with others, fostering a sense of collective connection and spiritual elevation.

The release features four original tracks, along with outstanding remixes by Meltem Yazar, Kubebe, and Oltrefuturo.

@nathancohn is a London based producer and DJ who’s been crafting his art and exploring the various facets of house music for years. Over his decade-long career, he has had some hear-catching releases on renowned labels such as Kitsuné, Nervous, Ed Banger or Bordello A Parigi.

In “Focus On Your Breath”, he showcases the wide array of his influences, and the broadness of his musical soundscape, revealing us these three interpretations of a track built around a mantric vocal sample. With a first iteration sounding like the perfect modern italo disco cut, a chuggy and acid version taking us to some dreamy, meditative, and almost hypnotic fields, or a progg and tech infused tool crafted for the club, COHN pays his own homage to the diversity and richness of electronic music.

This set brings together the styles of my favorite artists, along with the music I discovered during my time in Lisbon and several classics and mash-ups that are very special to my crew.
