On 26 February, hundreds of Israeli settlers went on a violent late-night rampage in Huwara and other villages in the northern West Bank, leaving one local resident dead and 100 others injured and the town ablaze.

This compilation of music was put together in order to raise funds that can hopefully give some aid to the residents of Huwara, all of the proceeds Confused Machines make from digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il An NGO that works in the occupied Palestinian territory, promoting Palestinians' right to health and providing direct medical and humanitarian assistance.

The compilation hosts a roster of both local and international artists spanning a wide spectrum of leftfield electronic music. Acid, Drone, Noise, Downtempo, Techno, SoundCollage and more.
All of these tracks are new and have not been heard before, many of them have been created with Huwara and Palestine in mind.

Though we know our reach is limited, we see this as a part of a bigger political effort to help raise awareness in our artistic circles and set motion to positive forces in dark times.

ALLEY VERSION presents the third installment of the series 'Tracks From The Alley', a V.A. 4-tracker compilation, kicking off with a new track by the Japanese machines wizard Takeshi Kouzuki, 'PaganParadise', where Chicago style acidelic beats meets immersive gloomy pads and tiny dripping melodies. 

The Italian duo FLML complete the A side with 'Analog Jerky Thing', a tape recorded jam driven by a hypnotic proto-acid style touching bassline. 

Greek cult producer DimDj open the B side with the intricate 'Apo Pou Eisai', a track made of rarefied jack-beats into dub echoes, mutating in acid attacks. 

Closes the e.p. Chris Mitchell, U.S. based producer-DJ and label boss of Feral Colony, with 'Tru1', a raw impact complex textured acid-techno track.

In the ethereal realm of the void there existed The Delphic Iris, a being of otherworldly power and boundless knowledge. The Iris was said to possess the ability to see into the future and hear unique and strange sounds from times and dimensions beyond our grasp. 

Legend has it that with a specific alignment of space and time, and with the mastering of secret ritual practices, The Delphic Iris can be conjured by mortal musicians to ignite and inspire their souls.

History's stark warnings tells us that summoning The Delphic Iris is fraught with danger and risks the possible collapse of our universe, for the Iris is an unstable and powerful being. However, The Delphic Iris' visions are often too tempting to resist much like a Siren's song.  

In recent years, electronic musicians Drox and 16 Faces came across the existence of the Delphic Iris through secret texts found in "the Book of Tidder" and were able to command its power for short periods of time, and so “Delphic Iris Records” was born.

Fortune has been kind to Drox and 16 Faces so far, despite the obvious risks of summoning the entity. We do not know why this is exactly, as the ceremonies are still to this day shrouded in mystery. What we do know is that we too are lucky, because now we can hear a small glimpse of what The Delphic Iris sees.

  It is up for debate as to whether The Delphic Iris’s intentions are good or evil, so listen with caution and may these sounds consume you, for the future of music looks promising, at least for now ….
