After two years, Mike Nylons brings to an end his Eneme trilogy, a series of releases that has been published in 3 volumes, in 3 different formats and on 3 different labels, though all based in Hungary and all twinned for the same cause. 

Farbwechsel hosted the first chapter of Eneme, which was released in May 2020. In this case it was released in digital format and the album featured a total of 8 tracks, a first release in which its author already showed the sonic path that this saga was going to take, with an expansive sound, grounded in degraded electronic music, in which he mixes electrifying and radioactive textures with corpulent sub-bass and an ideal dose of noise.

Just a year later, in May 2021, Dióbél released the second chapter, this time on vinyl and with four tracks in which he maintains the same sonic line, but he gets closer to the dancefloor with two first tracks of binary and forceful rhythms.

In the third and last volume they have chosen to release it on cassette, and under the protection of EXILES. In this 11 tracks Nylons shows himself to be deeper and more regenerative. His evolution during these years can be appreciated in the use of a wider range of sonic elements and also with a more careful and elaborated sound treatment.

Taking you on a treacherous journey, drifting through droning synth, pitched sounds and industrial soundscapes . ‘I/V’ is the final track off of the six track ep STUXXXXX, due for release via @Tripalium-Corp apart of their Disturbed Mutant Series out April 22.

Exiles presents Classics, an interesting proposal in which five artists each present a different perspective of what we can understand as advanced electronic music. All these artists are from Budapest, the city where the label is located, and to a greater or lesser extent, they are producers associated with this platform, as they have published their music in previous releases. 

Classics is a heterogeneous EP, with a powerful sound and elaborate textures. Alley Catss opens the release with με σφυρί, a track that combines a bright sound environment, with melancholic pads and metallic rhythmic elements, typical of experimental electronica, with a forceful kick that transports you at times to the raw landscape of industrial. The second cut, prayersarestandinginline1, by OOO, is an abstract track, with a degraded sound treatment and a strange atmosphere.

In the third track FOR. chooses to adopt a dynamic aspect with server ed_22, as unlike the rest of the tracks, its syncopated rhythm is prominent, forceful and stands out from the rest of the sound components. Oyster Farm, by Juhász Tamás, is a singular piece, with a fast cadence and different sections that seem to operate anarchically, yet together they form an perfect alliance. Nemerov closes the EP with Liebeslied, IDM with a complex architectural composition, with polyrhythms and a futuristic sound design.

Skin/Glove is the second LP by Belgian musician Mathieu Serruys, following the release of his B.A.A.D.M. debut On Germaine Dulac back in 2014. Compiled over the course of a fortnight, the record features material recorded over the past five years: creaks of ice buckling under heat, thick hums like nauseating headaches, plumes of evaporated organ hymns, frostbitten crackles of dying tape loops. These disparate sources are unified by the pervasive corrosion of pain and time, which presses into the surface of every sonic object. Melodies splinter under the strain of being pulled apart; drones tremble under the gathering gravity of fatigue; dissonances flicker like candles on the brink of extinguishment. Yet despite the emotional density of the material itself, the process of composition provides a route toward comprehending how these sounds and experiences are connected. Skin/Glove reads as a constellatory map of adversity and grief, beautifully coalesced through the cathartic distance of retrospect, haunted by the sibilant whispers of distinct memories in dialogue, latticed by lesions that fatefully and poignantly intersect.

Pace Rumorosa means nosy peace in Italian. Italian has been chosen because rumors not only recall noise, but also rumours and shattered sounds. It's of course related Covid-19 lockdown and all the restrictive rules that arose during this curious time. It is also a strictly no-pad/no-string sound release. The objective here is to create soundscape an deep atmosphere using only short and percussive sounds.
