Welcome to my new showcase! Two Dutch giants in the spotlight. The Beholder (a.k.a. Neophyte) and Max Enforcer (a.k.a. Evil Activities) are such legends. I love their work in the hardstyle- as well as the hardcore scene. You can clearly hear the cross genre influences in these tracks. Just amazing ;)

Also, Zany deserves an huge honorable mention since he collaborated on some of the best tracks.

A sidechain is when the volume of the music dips every time the kick hits, making everything sound more punchy and rhythmic.
This can result in trancy stuff like Soul Train, but it also works great for dark and epic screeches.
