Fraenzen Texas legt seit 1999 Platten auf. Er arbeitet bis 2003 für das weltweit agierende Magazin Flyer, wo er verantwortlich für nationales und international Marketing ist. In der Redaktion sitzt sein alter Freund Ruede Hagelstein, mit dem er zeitgleich diverse erfolgreiche Partyreihen für den Flyer, die www.restrealitaet.de und die Berliner-Stadt- musikanten durchführt. Seine DJ-Aktivität steigt besonders durch Innercity-Raves und beliebte Sonntags-Partys und er beehrt schon bald namenhafte Clubs wie Watergate und Tresor auch an begehrten Samstagen mit seinem typischen Berliner Sound, der nie- mals zu wenig Umdrehungen aufweist. Auch große Veranstalter wie die Coke DJ Culture sind mittlerweile auf seine Qualitäten als DJ aufmerksam geworden. Seit Januar 2007 ist er Resident im Berliner Club Watergate.
Im September 2007 erschien mit „Fogs & Frogs“ Fraenzens und Ruedes gemeinsames Debut auf Upon.You Records als „The Cheapers“. Darauf folgte 2008 die „Wilder-
ness EP Pt.1“ und eine Hand voll weiterer Platten.

DJ & producer Dave DK has been making waves in the electronic music scene for a couple of years now. Since the early 90's he was fascinated by the upcoming techno movement, which eventually led to his own active initiation. Became a resident DJ at Tresor/Globus club in Berlin & later on also at the legendary Panorama Bar. 
Dave is an open minded person who resents musical limits, his sound simply is the result of different styles that have influenced him throughout the years, he has release music on labels such as Kompakt Records, Pampa Records & Anjuna Deep.

This was my guest mix for the Beatdown Krew (based out of the wonderful Dallas, TX) podcast way back in the day. I'm still incredibly proud of how it turned out.
