Have you ever seen this bird? No? Let us tell you why. The waldrapp was once widespread across the Middle East, northern Africa, Southern, and Central Europe, with a fossil record dating back 1.8 million years. It disappeared from Europe over 300 years ago. Nowadays, there are only a few waldrapps left in Morocco and Syria. The reasons for the species' long-term decline are loss of foraging habitat and pesticide poisoning. We need to combat this. All proceeds from the release will be donated to Nature And Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU).
