No exception to his usual standards - this one's a Shoalin heater that's going to murder some dancefloors, that's for sure. Kung Fu vocal samples set the tone, propped up with moody basslines and precise drums that cut through with the slice and dice of a freshly cleaned katana.

Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, a few years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

With drum & bass being an increasingly global past time, we head to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada for SNB043 - Blacklab.  Aside from being brothers, Kashim & Kariem exhibit the early signs of being a production powerhouse, having channeled their shared love of sound design & composition into an ability to make sublime liquid d&b.  Already they've had multiple releases on Soulvent, been featured by Hospital & Viper, and have played at the legendary EDC Las Vegas.  'Tear Me Down / Singe' showcases the young duo's impressive versatility; while hinting at their very bright futures.

'Redemption' is the brand new EP from Alibi. Since signing with V Recordings in 2015 they've left a trail of beautifully crafted sonics, and this project is no exception.

Both the title track 'Redemption' and 'Unfolded' (with Phentix) hold the unmistakable, tech-driven characteristic you'd normally associate with the São Paulo duo. 'Uneasy' rounds off the release by showing their atmospheric side, previously shown on their 2018 album 'Said & Done'.

This EP continues the trend of Alibi getting better and better with each release.
