At Overview Music we are exceptionally proud to present the next instalment in our curated LP series: Zone.

Last year’s Zone 1 was a VA compilation of epic proportions and we’ve really kept our foot on the gas for the sequel, delving into D&B’s underground to A&R some of the best talent around.

Zone 2 sees a veritable who’s who of up and coming artists, like En:vy, Cauzer and Offline, rubbing shoulders with some Overview stalwarts (hello again Gran Calavera!) alongside some of the scene’s leading lights, like Trex, Objectiv and Molecular.

Everyone’s brought their A game and the LP is, to put it mildly, packed to the brim with 21 absolute weapons. We could go on and on about it, but you should really just experience it for yourself. Prepare your ears and strap in for the rollercoaster that is Zone 2.

Command Strange returns to V Recordings with a stellar 4 track EP, with a little help from his friends Alibi, Cnof, MC Fats & L-Side.

With three big colabs already under their belt (Skyline, Ahead of Me & Stardust) teaming up with Brazilian duo Alibi again was always on the cards, and they don’t disappoint taking the EP’s title track with techy roller ‘Welcome To The Future’. Cnof, another repeat collaborator joins the party for the liquid workout, ‘Blossom’, while Alexey goes solo on dancefloor banger ‘Krusty Fingers’. That leaves L-Side’s huge rework of MC Fats 2013 cut ‘Brand New Style’ to round off the EP.

Hailing from Kazakhstan, and now a seasoned producer signed to Bryan Gee's V Recordings imprint Alexey has been making waves in the Drum & Bass scene since 2010. Releases on Hospital and Med School, Fokuz, Metalheadz, Grid, and an album on DJ Marky's Innerground imprint have proven his versatility, with the Command Strange sound evolving to encompass harder, nastier styles alongside his pristine musicality.

This EP touches on all corners of that sound, taking the rough with the smooth and delivering a timeless selection of Drum & Bass flavours.

Welcoming Melinki & Macca to V Recordings with a killer three track body of work, the ‘Bad Trip’ EP.

Following on from his recently collaborations with Salo, MC GQ and Parly B, L-Side continues his streak of red hot singles, this time linking up with the prolific MC Bassman.

Encouraged and nurtured by scene-shaping forefathers such as Carl Cox, Micky Finn and Sasha, Bassman soon found himself hosting for some of the most genre-defining raves of the early 90s. His distinctive trademark bubbles and one liners saw his reputation spread to a global level paving the way for the many MCs who followed, landing him with his nickname ‘The Teacher’.

‘Nasty Style’ is a perfectly fitting title for the first of the two tracks, Bassman’s instantly recognisable tones cut through the mix of the twisted L-Side beat. A four minute energetic roll out that would comfortably fit into any DJs arsenal regardless of sub-genre.
