Creatures shown are called "Hollows" and represent darkners of empty space.
They'd simply hover upside down, without animations.

The Vessel and EVERYMAN are the party members in the chapter.
Dess replaces Everyman for the final segment of the chapter.
A separate Rude Buster is used for when she is in the party.

The unique mechanics for each would be as such;
Gash would have an OMORI-esque emotion mechanic.
Joyful, Sorrowful, Rageful, Fearful, Neutral, and MANIC.
Joyful would have attacks sometimes be lucky, but lower defense slightly.
Sorrowful would lower attack and defense, but make the attack swiper go slower.
Rageful would make attacks do more damage, but lower defense drastically.
Fearful would highten defense drastically, but do the opposite for offense.
MANIC would combine the positive traits of each, and would slowly drain the TP meter. Could only be achieved using Max TP.

EVERYMAN would simply have a special move.
A grayed out (for the most part), Spell.
"GASTER BLASTER."
50% Chance to obliterate an enemy. Does not work on bosses.
