"Awake" is a genre-defying masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of electronic music. Metrik, a renowned name in the drum and bass scene, joins forces with the innovative prowess of ÆON:MODE (also known as Blanke) to deliver an auditory journey featuring Metrik’s very own vocals, energising sound design and powerhouse drum work. Originatinally from Australia but now frequently touring across the globe, ÆON:MODE has blessed labels including UKF, Dim Mak, Ministry Of Sound and more with his soundwaves and hugely popular alter-alias known as Blanke. A regular on Triple J rotation and also hitting stages at the likes of EDC, Lollapalooza, Lost Lands and more, ÆON:MODE is set to infiltrate the drum & bass circuit.

Metrik’s list of achievements continue to flourish, with his music consistently elevating him into new heights. On top of his ‘Best Producer’ award at the Drum&BassArena Awards in 2020, as well as his last album ‘Ex Machina’ hitting #2 in the Official UK Dance Music Album Charts’, Metrik consistently racks up support on the airwaves from radio tastemakers including Danny Howard, Charlie Tee, Annie Mac, Friction and more. Yep, you guessed it, everyone's favourite D&B duo from down under is back with another exquisite release, this time teaming up with the incredible vocals of Emilie Rachel on the sounds of 'Hold Me'.
