Oftome: this was a song for the mansion area in our chapter 6 take. If you remember we had this one character called ursula and uuh she was like a princess of darkness and she had her own huge mansion which also doubled as a sort of art gallery, so it had a lot of paintings and statues around, it was cool. In the story noelle was actually trapped in one of the paintings and was being controlled by omnis (the BAD guy). Dess was the angel in our take and she was this huge fucking statue in the middle of the mansion and you would see more of her as you progressed through the mansion similar to queens robot in chapter 2, in the  battle area there would be this huge window in the back and you would be able to see her statue looking into the room and it wouldve been cool. Anyway i made a couple different concepts for the castle song (like 4), but in the end this is the one that i feel got the vibe the most.

Oftome: old gateway - these are just older versions of gateway. it used to be just a core remix that was kinda lame lmao

Oftome: mick rook was probably the most important chapter 3 character too bad you guys will never get to see him in action. I actullay made 5 concepts for his theme so you can see how important he was, however these concepts had a very big flaw and its that they sucked straight ass

Oftome:  just some concepts for the boat song that i didnt like, all of these unfinished concepts didnt go through becaues i didnt like them. I liked that little chord progression i used in the second concept so i did end up using that in the final song.

Oftome: pestshaker was one of the characters for our chapter 4, he was sort of like a general... of some sorts..??? something??? but he was also kinda silly at the same time, he wasnt really defined at all i think you can see that in the song, or, hear it. I just never really got the vibe down, similar to what happened with mick rook. i miss you mick.

Oftome:  In retrospect these are actually semi-cool but idk i guess none of these really convinced me and it didnt live up to what i expected of a tenna battle theme

Old The Real Deal Versions

Oftome: initially this song was gonna be way more like rude buster. I think the chords sound cool all chopped up like that but it moves around so so much that i found it really hard to make a melody work with them. I ended up jsut making a more original-sounding song instead of basing it directly off of rude buster, i think it was better in the end

Fizziy: This song was originally created with the intent of it being a sort of "ruined hometown" theme. I realized, as I do very often, I am not good at making actual songs, so I instead made it an ambient track... Anyways, I still think this is an interesting song. "OHIR", for the 2 fans that remember that, stood for Our Hometown In Ruin.

Fizziy: This song was originally drafted by me, I got kinda stuck and didn't know what else to add so I ended handing it off to Oftome.
The thumbnail isn't particularly related, but it is a concept of the Angel statue, which would be at the center of the Evergroves. (Containing December as the vessel for said Angel.)

Old Sinking Feeling

Fizziy: This was my original pitch for the mashup of The Door + the unused checkerboard theme. It didn't sound quite right so I asked Oftome to make it better and that's what he did.

Old The Door?

Fizziy: This one isn't really that different from the one that got released. It is just mixed worse, however, I just wanted an excuse to talk about Omnis.
Omnis was the sort of main villain in the story of Hometown Incidents, took the role you'd see typically out of a Gaster take. His purpose was devotion to bringing Gaster back from the dead through the roaring, using the Knight (vessel) as he is not determined enough to make fountains of his own, until his final fight in the depths.

Fizziy: I literally just played this with my harmonica. Didn't edit at all or anything. The original scene was going to be when the pirates are sinking in their ship, as they take the pong table to sea and hold onto it as they sink like the Titanic.
