Hot on the heels of AXXE's amazing Emerald & Doreen debut EP, we are celebrating with a 2 fresh cuts of remixes. Fist comes the Greek God Of Disco - Dim Zach followed by Munich Disco Machine Silverella in two weeks.


Like the band's namesake, vintage budget monophonic synthesizer ARP AXXE, the Montreal-Stockholm electronic music trio prove that small, simple and straightforward can be exciting.

A curious amalgam of conflicting personalities, they put aside their differences to put their contemporary spin on the glittery dance pop of the 70s and 80s.

The band's latest release, That's Enough 4 Now b/w Heart of Cold was mixed and mastered by Auke Riemersma at MassiveMusic (Netherlands). 

Inspired by decreasing the amount of screen time brought on by the global pandemic, AXXE reacquainted themselves with acoustic instruments and live playing. The result: tight, song-oriented indie pop tracks that groove in the spirit of Róisín Murphy and Chromatics. But they haven't forgotten their club origins: remixes courtesy of Montreal's Fuentes (Dream Culture, Where The Heart Is).

AXXE previously had releases on NYLO Music (Spain), On The Fruit Records (France) and Mile End Records (Canada), which feature collaborations with internationally renowned talent such as Blond:ish (Kompakt, Get Physical).

Achievements include its Young Lovers Never Die EP (NYLO Music) reaching the 3rd spot on Beatport's Indie Dance/Nu Disco releases chart and the 27th spot overall. The release was also selected to Traxsource Essentials (July 2018).

As well, the Neon Workout remix of S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. Night (Mile End Records) was selected as the track of the month by global luxury brand Hugo Boss' August 2010 edition of HUGO Tracks. Previous honourees include acts Ali Love and Acid Washed.

AXXE has appeared on a number of compilations, notably Young Lovers Never Die (La Belle Époque Remix) on NYLO Music's Deep & Chilled Desires 2 (mixed by mixed by Alex Morais) and Sweet Stuff (Ride The Universe Remix) on Kiez Beats' Disco 2021 (alongside Louis La Roche and Anoraak).

These tracks are not part of the forthcoming album that i am working on, but tracks made on the fly. They were intended to be dj tools, but ended up as crowd pleasing beasts that we just had to unleash sooner rather than later.Both were made over the summer and at the same period of time (hence the titles) and both are very inspired by oldschool house and techno.

“We2” is the primetime monster that makes people go crazy in the clubs because of the stompin' bass and big builds.
“Are1” is the deeper and more downtempo deephouse groover that just captures you in the groove and its simplicity.

Both tracks are included on the V/A EP "Second Chances &amp; New Romances Volume 2" coming on Noir Music September 5th 2011.

Austria's Holter & Mogyoro return to their homebase Déepalma with a sultry single named 'Hundred Lives' alongside remixes from Keyano and Juloboy.

Since 2013 the exciting duo from Vienna has been producing uplifting House music with a deep, warm and atmospheric touch. As performers they play regularly as a DJ duo, as well as a hybrid style merging DJing with live elements such as analogue synths. After several highly acclaimed productions for Kittball, Milk & Sugar and Enormous Tunes, not to mention their homebase Déepalma, the pair have garnered support from the likes of EDX, Sam Feldt, Vanilla Ace, Sam Divine and Sonic Future amongst many others.

As their first single release of 2017 they now bring you 'Hundred Lives', a true winner for the summer season in signature Holter & Mogyoro style with crunchy beats, atmospheric synths and an emotive children's choir sample. The single is backed up by remixes from up and coming producer Keyano, who incorporates an infectious hook aimed squarely at the dancefloor, as well as a reinterpretation by Déepalma regular Juloboy featuring compelling chord sequences.
