It's been quite some time since we heard a new AWEN tune, but you can expect a few interesting things coming up in the next couple of months…like an album for instance!

We couldn't wait till the album release, so we had to heat things up with this first single called Unstoppable.

An homage to the Black Lives Matter movement, AWEN's Unstoppable is a momentous rally cry that entrances listeners for nearly six minutes. Through this song, AWEN creates a compelling story about the inevitability of progress through persistence. Her lyrics center on continued resistance, and her melody is a perfect metaphor for her words, evolving every second with simple repeating elements. Unstoppable is created in collaboration with Candy Man, an emerging House and Afrotech producer from Pretoria, South Africa. 

The original version is accompanied by two remixes; A version by Daniel Rateuke - who needs no introduction - delivering his own clubbier vision of the track, and a downtempo remix created by Cehashi - who collaborated with Awen on the artistic direction of her album.

RISE MUSIC returns with its third release: RISE003 The Ritual Remixed EP
Hyenah invited three of his favourite producers to bring their signature flavors to The Ritual EP. 

The A side, “You Made Me Who I Am”, gets two fantastically deep South African treatments. Up first is Enoo Napa, who grew up in Umlazi, one of Durban’s largest and most creative townships, which is also considered among the most musically inspired parts of South Africa. Enoo Napa leans heavily towards Afro Tech, and does so like no other. For good reason Black Coffee recently signed him to his Soulistic inprint and is featuring his music in sets all over the world. Enoo Napa turns Hyenah’s original track into a dark, ever-growing piece of energy. Stripped to its foundation, in trademark style Enoo Napa’s remix allows a powerful warmth to grow throughout. Next up on Madorasindahouse Records, a release that has been long awaited since its first plays on Ibiza dancefloors the past summer. Kasango’s “One Night” is a club anthem featuring the unique vocals of the prominent Bobbi Fallon that has already been played in the biggest clubs in the world, and featured in Black Coffee’s “Music Is King” Compilation. Tagging along, &lez and FKA Mash deliver two remixes that will surely stick to many playlists aiming for the dancefloor, while an acoustic version is wrapping things up for all the romantic souls out there.

To spice things up, Monkey Safari deliver not only one but two remixes, their signature “Groove Remix” and the Christmas-y “Santa Funk version”, ready to turn up the heat in every dancefloor that is full, from Tulum to South Africa.

If this wasn't enough, the b-side comes with yet another track by Qness, with the vocals of Tati Guru who will make any listener move to its groove.
