Although the name "Autumn Jazz" might sound melancholic, this 27th release on FRI is anything but. It's a refreshing and uplifting take on slow-mo house and groovers, ranging from 100 to 115 BPM, by Russian producer Andrey Slam.
Andrey has done marvelous work with sample manipulation, cleverly using cuts and loops with heavy filter work. This results in authentic vibes reminiscent of early Kaytranada and the Soulection LA beat scene, characterized by heavy swung beats, subby basslines, and pumping grooves.
