We couldn't ever pronounce his real name so Vova, as we call him, has studied sound design and is working in this field. With not even a handful tracks out, this guy has already reached a high level of production and has proven that he's capable to produce quality sounding tracks. Rest assured that's not even his best attribute - as he's one guy that definitely isn't lacking creativity.
The Bokomaru EP starts of with "Juku" a sinister stepper with lot's of switches, drum fills and little vocal cuts to keep it interesting. The title track "Bokomaru" on the other hand is inspired by the half beat 20/20 sound being pushed at the moment. Funky, heavy, bassy... everything you need for a good head nodder. It ties very well with "Pay Me" only that, that one goes a bit deeper but never losses the roughness. And when you're done with that you'll be served the progressive "Overload" which is a journey through the depths of deepnes in what we could imagine as being an intro track to a Doc Scott, Loxy or D-Bridge set.

We've got another wicked exclusive from the Ronin Ordinance camp today and this time they've teamed up with another Dojo favourite as US producer Mark Kloud turns in a cracking three track EP for the Leeds-based imprint. Turn The Cycle comes from Mark's 'Yushan' alias and sees him blending the atmospherics of dark halftime with a driving, techno-infused beat which propels the tune along at a surprising energy given the relatively sparse composition. The forthcoming LP from Delta9 Recordings presents everything the label has endeavoured to construct since they first began releasing music. Based between two of Europe’s most creative hubs, the label has stretched its roots from Berlin and Bergamo, in Italy, to draw out a host of inspirations. It’s dark, minimalistic and techstep sounds have filtered across subs within their biggest club spaces, helping to promote the drum & bass culture in Northern Italy and demonstrating its contribution to the worldwide scene. 

This tune channels that same ethos, combining the creativity of newcomer Stoner with the experience of Dottor Poison to craft a relentless roller.

Delta9 Recordings presents “Skull Breakers”, the first chapter of a Various Artists project showcasing the heaviest side of drum and bass and paying homage to the Drum&Bass sounds that Delta9’s crew grew up with since their early days promoting parties over 15 years ago until now.

Delta9 Recordings has a scope which stretches throughout the most creative parts of Europe, places which are renowned as a hotbed for music, as well as a breeding ground for artists. From Berlin, Germany to Bergamo, Italy, the label has built itself on top of these two cities, bringing forward artists from the continent’s furthest reaches and pushing them onto the pedestal provided for them by the label.

Neurofunk was an important part of label's early stages in the Drum&Bass scene and now we are bringing it back with a yearly release which will delivery what neurofunk is for us: ENERGY!

On this first instalment listeners will be completely wrapped by the loads of bass coming from these incredible bangers, spacing from tech tunes, to innovative hard compositions and classic neurofunk rollers!
