Whats up fam finally getting around to uploading this mix. Been a wild ride since Dont Trip Campout. I got out there a week before the camp out started to help set up and build. I met so many awesome people and connect with some great artists. Shout out to Aaron, Michealangelo and Chris for designing and building all the stages!! Shout out to Rizkee, Brett Rubin and Dangerhouse for organizing and putting this thing together. We were elevated on every level HAHA. The site was something to behold. All the trees were had up lighting and the sound and stages all had phenomenal sound and lighting. Shout to to Alex from ELS for bringing your lasers to the shindig, It was a pleasure meeting you and helping you get those lasers set up. Whats up soul fam. Bringing you the 1st installment of my d&b mix series entitled Supreme Roots Vol.1. Its ya boi Demarco bringing you another exclusive mix under my alias XklusyvV. If you don't know by now, everything I perform under this alias is bass music of all genres. For this session were going back to the tribal roots of drums with this DRUM AND BASS MIX. I have been a HUGE fan of D&B for years now, but this is my 1st d&b mix. Every time I hear drum and bass I picture my ancestors chanting and dancing around the fire. All music comes from 1 place and that's the DRUM, and drums originate from Africa. Drums were invented by the Mandinka (or Maninke) people of western Africa in around 1300 AD. Maybe that's why drum and bass does something to my soul. Enjoy the Mix

Alright Alright Alright! The weekend is underway and we're getting things poppin with a mix from our homie DeMarco Cruz! This one is sure to get you bumpin and groovin with those classic house and tech house slappers. 

We first met Demarco out in the desert where we played back to back with each other for hours and have been eager to get a mix from him. He's left solid musical footprints out at night clubs and epic gatherings  in Nevada and California. He spent a lot of time creating in Las Vegas but now he resides in Mammoth Lakes where he consistently plays shows and is part of the Caldera Collective. Chris Mindel & Brittany Mindel congrats you two are amazing!! So honored to kick off your wedding reception/ Purple Alien Wulfpack Trifucta Throw-down with some proper house music with lots of disco/funk influence and thumpin' bass lines!! The Vibes were super high as one of the art projects burned. Twas called The Great Train Wreck which is an artistic interpretation of railroad history when locomotives were ceremoniously destroyed in head-on crashes for public entertainment. At Burning Man 2018 they had two interactive trains constructed from wood from Reno and Sacramento ultimately simulate a crash-and-burn as the finale and i got to dj during it with a clear view of the show and fireworks during my set aswelll!! Alright!!!! Super excited to release this mix which was recorded LIVE in Golden Valley, Arizona this past weekend for ZERO POINT!!! This mix is dedicated to my friend Gilbert Dela Cruz aka Dela yee who passed away last week. He had one of the biggest hearts and most positive vibes out there and it's been such a challenge getting used to his physical essence no longer with us, but I know hes smiling down upon us all and dancing in the sky like he always is! I love you Gil!! special shout out to the homie STEVE MAKEPEACE WALKER for supplying my set with some live drums at the beginning of the  mix. I almost didnt make this set cause i wasnt feeling to well about an hour before I played so i sat down and started doing some deep breath exercises which helped a bit then once i got on the decks after a few tracks the energy from the crowd def helped which was still going strong at 7am on sunday morning!! I decided to ad the crowd noise into the recording to really get across the vibes that were felt that monin so the sound quality is a little off but def still sounds good. Disco flavors arent something i play all the time, i love listening to it but dont play it out too often, its very situational.... and it just felt right to rinse out some disco vibes and the crowd really enjoyed it!! SUPER SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO MICHAEL SCALAR FOR PUTTING THIS TOGETHER FOR THE COMMUNITY!! We def need it!!  Thx to everyone involved!! Originally finding his rhythm within the soul of hip hop music, in early 2008 the pace of his internal beat quickened as house music began to call out to him. Trusting in this feeling, he obtained CDJ's and began exploring the depth of sound mixing that he didn't know existed before embracing electronic music. The steep learning curve most newcomers experience wasn't an obstacle for Demarco, and within half a year he had not only placed in but flat out won a mix contest on -houseplanetdj.com-

Riding this wave through the house party scene and underground venues of Las Vegas into the next year, Demarco found himself playing highly sought after gigs at Local Love high atop the towers of the Palms Casino. To the surprise of many, excluding the lucky few that had witnessed his live performances, he found himself in the final three of the Local Love competition with the well established Vegas DJ's Brett Rubin and Mike Remedy. He was interviewed in the Las Vegas Weekly (a local staple and an authority on what is important in nightlife) after winning the third round which granted him a spot in the finals where he made a serious musical statement. In far too many DJ competitions the winner is determined by an arbitrary interpretation drunken club applause, but the house purists and artists present that night at Moon nightclub knew that they were seeing a unique talent unfold before their eyes. He has conquered Nevada landscapes across the board including: Rok inside New York New York, Day Dream at the M Resort, Mezza Lounge, La Costa Grill, Bikini Bar, blue martini, Obsession After Hours at the Playground, Artisan Afterhours, The Cathouse, Posh Afterhours, Foundation Room, Burning Man 2012, 2013 and 2014, Forgotten City (Las Vegas Burning Man Regional) 2013, 2014, 2015 Serenity Gathering 2014 aswell as House of Blues when he opened up for Lucent Dosier and the locally Vegas Sounds of the Underground raves; but it is not about WHERE he has played that makes these words an important map towards reaching his positive energy, it is about HOW he plays.

His first collaboration with Dert Cheep called "Shoots and Ladders" was released on Dance Lab Recordings and there are several more in the pipeline that after just one experience of his live sets will have you confused with yourself for stalking his tracks and bookings. He has recently been exploring the sounds of trap under the Alias XklusyvV and its clear to see this artist has many different styles to show the world. For Demarco, it's all about the vibe, and in his presence there will be no doubt in your mind just infectious that can be.
