Making his debut on the label, DeMarzo is next up to release on the unstoppable Hot Creations with his groove and funk fueled ‘Draw A Line’ three original tracks that are straight up solid dance-floor weapons, highly infectious and perfect for the summer sun.

All three tracks have been heavily featuring in Jamie jones, Richy Ahmed and Lee Foss’s sets. ‘Draw A Line’ features on Richy’s forthcoming Rinse Album. All three slick solid deep-house cuts that evoke a traditional house feel whilst being forward thinking.

DeMarzo has had recent releases on Noir, This IS Recordings, Warung Records, Glasgow Underground, Resonance Records, Nurvous, Acid Fruits, Loulou Records & Nasty Funk.

Inheriting his passion for music through his father, DeMarzo enrolled into the Yamaha Keyboard School at the age of 8 where he got his first taste of creativity.

Years of writing and performing live became natural and nights spent watching Jazz improv’s became highly influential. Whilst studying music technology at college he began producing his own material. As a multi-instrumentalist, his obligation to inject ‘groove’ into both his productions and sets began to arouse more and more interest. DeMarzo’s sound is a meticulously crafted one. His toxic perfectionism and shrewd sense of rhythm lead him naturally to where he is today. His well-revised sets include anything from underground deep house to main room deep tech.

On the back of ‘Draw the Line’, his acclaimed release on Hot Creations and a recent ‘Future Heroes’ segment on BBC Radio 1, DeMarzo delivers his first release on rising UK label Underground Audio with the mammoth ‘Crazy / Original Mixtape’.

A highly touted artist born and bred in Leeds, UK, DeMarzo’s passion for music stretches back to a childhood punctuated by his father’s soul and Motown records leading him to study the keyboard at age 8. Throughout his childhood he spent time playing in bands, while honing his production skills with a music technology course at college, never deviating from his goal of devoting his life to music creation.

Production breakthroughs would occur with tracks and remixes released on the likes of Noir, 2DIY4, Warung Recordings, Acid Fruits and Digital Delight, among others. Of particular note were on-point remixes of Finnebassen’s ‘What You Do’ on NastyFunk and Walker & Royce’s ‘I Surrender’ on Glasgow Underground that piqued the ears of fans and critics alike, while his re-rub of Compuphonic & Kolombo’s ‘Sand Storm’, with its intricate rhythmic sequences proved DeMarzo’s skill as a music-maker was improving with every track.

Ever the perfectionist, he still wasn’t satisfied and so came ‘Draw the Line’ on Hot Creations – an example of him literally drawing a line under all his previous work and pushing his productions to a new and more refined level. The track’s deep, groove-driven floor-moving vibes was an undoubted sonic bullseye as the cut peaked at no.3 in Beatport Deep House charts and no.20 overall.

DeMarzo’s latest creation ‘Crazy’ / ‘Original Mixtape’ continues his quest to take his production output to new levels. Already premiered on BBC Radio 1 during his Future Heroes segment, ‘Crazy’ is a heavy-hitting, multi-layered bullet injected with double-thick layers of techno percussion and the mother of all synth stabs that’s cherry ripe for decimating dancefloors.

On the flip ‘Original Mixtape’ is the attitude-packed little brother and a swinging house cut with a sly acid undercurrent that makes the perfect funk-fuelled accompaniment to its more high octane accomplice.

Known for his fresh exploration of sound and his infectious groove, Demarzo has
had 100’s of release in the last 15 years including his own imprint, Pusher
Records, as well as PIV, No Art and Cecille to name a few.
You know a Demarzo track when you hear it.
He is no newcomer to the scene and has built an impressive discography of

releases over the past decade, which inevitably paved the way for his first-of-its-
kind producer school, DeMarzo EMC, launched in 2019. The school has been a

huge influence on new producers ever since.
Demarzo doesn’t follow trends and always aims to bring something fresh to the
scene, combining influences from house and disco with the underground.
Live, Demarzo is known for his rolling grooves and unique edits. Always digging
deep and writing new music on the road, you can always expect fresh tracks at
each of his shows. With sets at legendary venues like Fabric London, Space
Ibiza, and Rex Club Paris, along with multiple world tours, his live presence is
unmistakable.
