Demetris Peratikos also goes by the alias Dim Sum and Spex. Born in London in 1989 but of Greek Cypriot ethnic background, Demetris grew up acquiring two main sources of passion, one for Cyprus and the other for music. He started producing music at the age of 18, having currently released 2 EP’s under the alias Dim Sum, as well as performing at numerous gigs around the island of Cyprus at places such as Square Bar in Nicosia, Fat Tuesday’s Club in Mckenzie Beach and B2 Club based in Larnaca City, under the alias Spex. 
Demetris career in deejaying began at the age of 24 when he bought his first Vinyls which then turned in to a vast collection. Demetris frequently liked to mix his Vinyls as a hobby which soon turned in to a career. The unique sound in his production came from isolating him self during studio sessions whilst living in Cyprus for over 3 years, Having moved there in 2013, producing genres from Deep House to Techno. He was influenced in music from artists such as, The Crusaders, Leon Vynehall, Massive Attack, Bill Withers and many more. Currently studying at Point Blank Music School in London, Developing his skills whilst deejaying with further plans on completing his album, set to release in January 2020.
