Emotional Eater, or EMOSH for short, explores the highs and lows that Black Queer individuals with bigger bodies experience in our world. Demetruest had the good fortune to grow up surrounded by Black Women who ultimately prevented them from self-destruction and self-loathing. This song serves as a mantra, encouraging listeners to embrace their emotionality and vulnerability since it’s only when you’re at your most vulnerable that you can genuinely begin to discover who you are.
