Material Things (ha ha) .
I wrote this song based on people in this world being about materialistic things,
shoes, handbags, what car you have, how big your house is, what diamond ring you have or getting.
instead of being a humble human being that hasn't got it all but still happy and content and thriving on the good free things in life such as , Love, unconditional love from animals, nature,being alive!


I am the latter.

I don't really care or give two thoughts about what someone has or hasnt got,
I take people for who they are and how they treat others and me!

a piano written song based on around in my "day job" over the years caring for people in an nhs hospital,
I have witnessed good and sad stories of people who have been sadly ill over the years.
This song is about people /patients being unwell in hospital and holding on and putting up a brave fight to overcome their illnesses and being strong and determined to not give up and into the light.
some sadly have lost their lives and this song is dedicated to those brave people who sadly lost their lives and are now angels, never forgotten.

Singer, songwriter and musician Demi McMahon is one of Scotland’s quickest growing upbeat and colourful artists. She not only grabs people’s attention with her warm, caring personality, but she also captivates listeners all around the globe with her smooth, power pop energy and mesmerising vocals.
Demi McMahon would go on to do even more during her singing career including many highlights singing in front of 15,000 people at one of Scotland’s largest colourful festivals Dundee Pride, supported Stevie Mcrorrie (The voice 2015 winner) on his scottish tour in a venue in Dundee called Church and closed the year releasing her cover album Music On My Mind, which had her own twists on popular songs.

Always following her passion to sing, Demi McMahon started early 2020 making a TV appearance on a BBC Scotland show called Love Song, which gave her a cheeky chance to express her love of singing. Reflecting on her journey, she is grateful for the support .
