This is a more uneasy piece; the plot it follows is desperate and uncertain. Nominal was a year-long project for me, with almost 150 total hours put into composing, mixing, and story drafting. This song really turned the direction of the project around, and ultimately ended up being the precursor to the fifth song, Override, in the sense that I learned a lot from this song that I ended up applying to Override. Much of this song is highly experimental, and many of the sounds are from the other songs in this EP. Though this was a slog to write, and I spent hours pulling my hair out trying to discern what direction to take this in, I'm proud of where it ended up.

my heart goes out to all the participants for this compilation. genuinely, thank you so much for bringing your unique tracks. it was a wonderful journey to experience. i put a lot of effort into this track and im prettty sure everyone else did the same, it shows through with the quality of the comp.
this genuinely being my first release is so hype.

Started this track last August and got the first take of the vocals towards the end of December last year after hearing a dear friend had passed, and it made me tear up with how powerful it hit. I knew this track was going to be a different from the others been cooking up, so wanted to dedicate all my free time into making it as unique and juicy as it has turned out.
