Jungle Rootz debuts on Albion Collective with his Catharsis EP. Built to shake foundations, it becomes the second instalment of the Albion Gold series and will be available on an extremely limited vinyl run as well as digitally. In keeping with the hand-crafted Albion Gold ethos, each of the 100 records will be hand-painted, numbered, stamped and gold embossed.
All three tracks deliver their weight in gold, but Pigment’s relentless evolution certifies its A-side status. The rolling wave of plasmic pressure lifts further into the petrol-soaked sky with each pulse.
Title track, Catharsis, opens up the B-side with a body-shoving, eyebrow-snarling bassline layered with this EP’s trademark plasmic energy that unleashes melodies as well as it does murkage.
Finally, like the ghosts who wander from the mist of Japan’s mountains, Yurei gains its power from the intangible negative space it creates. Effortlessly stripped-back, Jungle Rootz breaks all expectations with the age-old adage, less is more.

Demloxx is a veteran of the UK underground scene, hailing from the North West and bringing over two decades of experience as a DJ, producer, and event organiser. Known for his dynamic sets and deep knowledge of bass-driven music, Demloxx has worked alongside and had support from cultural giants like Red Bull, Adidas Originals, Crack Magazine, Montana Cans, and Vice Magazine.
