Since his production debut in 2022, Jhojho has quickly gained a wealth of industry supporters, including MK, Mau P, and Low Steppa. His lively and jacking house sound has led to releases on Detlef’s Issues, including his two-track ‘BUSTED’ EP, which paved the way for his BBC Radio 1-backed collaboration ‘Shut Up!’ with the label head via elrow music. Now making his most significant label debut to date on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, the Techords boss pays homage to Mousse T.’s timeless house anthem with his tantalizing single ‘Horny,’ featuring vocalist Mizbee, who returns for her third outing on the imprint.

The idea behind ‘Horny’ was to create a simple but effective modern groove with a classic vocal, and I’m glad to have worked with Mizbee, who did an amazing job on the vocals.” - Jhojho

Supported by the head honcho at his Paradise opening party at Amnesia (Ibiza) and at key dates across the summer, ‘Horny’ boasts thick, driving drum kicks and booming low-ends, building to Mizbee’s sultry, pitched-down vocals that add to the funk-infused backdrop.

The Norwich-based DJ/producer Ben Graves, whose infectious basslines and catchy vocal hooks have caught the attention of heavyweights like Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, and Mason Collective. Now, Graves steps forward with his latest two-tracker ‘Funky’, a vibrant addition to the label’s growing catalogue of dynamic, dancefloor-driven House.
The opening track, ‘Feel It’, is a smooth, side-stepping heater driven by deep, low-slung bass and sharp beats that propel this groovy trip. Next, ‘Funky’—recently road-tested by House titan Marco Carola on Pacha’s dancefloor—delivers crisp high-hats and rolling rhythms, effortlessly weaving around a funky bassline for a nostalgic, feel-good house moment.
