Come along, loyal fans, as we observe a vision of the near future. The place: Russia. The year: 34 AS (After Singularity). Gigantic automatons stomp across a hermetic landscape. Grass and soil have been replaced with carbon fiber and diamond alloys. Humans have been forced underground, while their robotic masters wait patiently in the overworlds as mortal half lives fly by. The Eurasian continental mass is now dominated by a massive sentient structure which encompasses a bulk of the former USSR. This is club Demokracy. This is where machines come to dance.

I had a modern classical/electronica mix from a friend (JamBon) which I had been listening to a lot, and after a weekend away the original of this track was really stuck in my head. At some point I clicked that it sounded just like the style of another friend - Hiatus, and on checking, it was him! So I got straight on email to him asking if I could have the parts, and I even got started on the remix before they arrived by buying the mp3 and starting to lay some ideas around that - When it's on I find it's best to go with it. It was a really enjoyable remix to do given how beautiful the original parts are, my mix is quite similar really, as I couldn't improve on it melodically, I've just tried to add some of my own flavour and twists.

"Andromeda" is the first single for the upcoming debut album by Deckard entitled "For A Better Tomorrow". The original version of "Andromeda" is a smooth electronica tune that blends into a grooving sci fi dub part. Remixes are provided by Bit-Tuner from Switzerland, Demokracy from Russia and Rowpieces, who provides a pushing drum & bass version of "The Dawn". The complete package is a nice teaser for the long awaited debut, due out in late December.
