A feast of funked up jamming, discoid transmitters and wonky tech wizardry, ‘Space Ballad’, featuring the heady vocals of Argenis Brito, is a twisted excursion to a parallel party universe. The chunky house groove and tricky weave of funk and techy kicks make for a thrilling cosmic ride that’s underpinned by a deep and dirty bassline. Fiercely championed by label-head Damian Lazarus, Fur Coat are about to mark themselves out as beacons of light in the Rebels stable.

In an almighty coup, Crosstown Rebels have snared one of dance music’s brightest talents to deliver a remix for the Venezuelan wunderkind. Bringing his innovative, boundary crashing style to the package,Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs packs a bit more punch in the groove and propels epic soaring synths into a murky rave dynamic of gritty bashment beats. After three magnificent EPs on the London/Berlin based Greco-Roman label, TEED’s next single ‘Garden’ is out in October and the highly anticipated debut album is expected early 2012.

Fur Coat aka Sergio (Delete) Munoz and Israel Sunshine both grew up in Venezuela under the influence of old groove music from the funk, soul and disco era and 90’s jams as well as Latin grooves. Joining forces late in 2010 after their solo involvement in South America’s dance music scene brought their creative visions together, the Fur Coat project was born. The unpredictable nature of their evolving musical style will captivate the dancefloor but these gentlemen intend to transport your soul to another dimension. With an album in production and another EP on the way, ‘Space Ballad’ is just a taster for what’s in store.

Simply an iconic track from Swiss brothers Mandrax and Seb K aka Shakedown, ‘At Night’ is one of the most recognisable house tracks of the last two decades. Josh Butler returns with yet another knockout production on Defected. The deep and groovy ‘Feels Good’ gained immediate attention when the DJ Mag and Beatport award-winning producer premiered it on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix on earlier this year. The track has an authentic house sound, as Josh blends uplifting synths and rave stabs with the feel-good powerhouse vocals of soul duo HanLei, noted for their work as Grace Jones’ backing singers. On the Dub, Josh brings the composition to heavy hitting grounds, with a deeply rhythmic bassline and breakdowns, which have already been slaying dancefloors in Ibiza and Croatia. Having worked closely with key players such as Kerri Chandler, Steve Lawler and Joris Voorn on previous releases, ‘Feels Good’ solidifies Josh as one of the most prolific and in demand producers currently on the scene.

Italian DJ/producer Qubiko has recently been turning heads with his signature bouncing basslines and feel-good sound, remixing the likes of Sonny Fodera, Dennis Cruz and Joeski as well as releasing an impressive discography of his own material. Now, following on from the ‘These Days EP’ he released on Defected, Qubiko makes a stellar debut on DFTD, the label that brings you all things club inclined. Comprised of two tracks, ‘U R’ is an upfront delivery of house heat, with both cuts ready to set dancefloors alight this summer.

David Penn delivers his first collaboration with legendary house vocalist Roland Clark on Defected. Boasting the same infectious groove as his previous outputs on the label, ‘The Power’ makes the perfect antidote to wintertime blues, capturing the uplifting energy of his DJ sets with a record destined to unite all on the dancefloor. As Roland Clark’s delivers his emotive spoken word narrative, David’s rolling bassline and percussive breaks bring his signature brand of soul-laden house. Once again, the pairing of Defected and David Penn proves to be a match made in house heaven, expect to hear ‘The Power’ dominating dancefloors all year long.

Sidney Charles has built himself an impressive discography in the last couple of years and he makes his EP debut here at OFF with 2 outstanding singles.

The prolific Hamburg native brings rhythm to life with a 909 rendition to jackin house in "Jack On The Rocks", it's all about the classic vibe and the unmistakable shuffle in this one, while we bring Berlin's tech master Santé (Desolat/8Bit) to the remix decks to turn the track into a deeper bass-driven journey with added sax and a groove that will sure get them moving.

Second track is “Soul Station”, also another one for the dancefloor, more signature classic drums, this time with a groovy phat bassline and the ever-so-loved presence of a preacher vocal that sure does the trick…
