One of our most anticipated releases as of late is the birth of a new project - Arden. A new direction for a familiar face of the label, music more for day to day listening.

Inspired by artists such as Ross From Friends, MJ Cole and Koan Sound, Arden dives deep into a platter of modern breaks and broken beats, rolling drums, razor sharp percussion and illustrative vocal cuts.

Arden debuts with his 2-track EP titled 'Vision', comprised of the title track and the flip-side 'Let Me Tell Ya Somethin'. Two absolute stellar records we see being timeless pieces. "Perfect Motion" has a deep meaning for Tim Angrave and Alister Luckett (Alindamix) who when remixing drew on memories of good times in the 90s, blended with an ambient / electronic modern sunset feel, and a melancholic poetic soundscape. This crossover of happy and sad, evolving story / backdrop to the timeless and beautiful vocals of Lucia gives the track a durability and versatility for even more decades to come.

I revisit the great names of the ambient by introducing a glitched rhythmic part, dub basses and psychedelic effects on the original drones..
