There's still not a lot of concrete info on No Man's Sky yet, but here's an orchestration of a song used in the trailer. The track is from a recent album by 65daysofstatic (who are also working on the game's soundtrack).

Does it really count as a video-game orchestration? Probably not, but thanks to the trailer, it's the tune most people associate with No Man's Sky at the moment. It proved a bit difficult to translate from the style of the original, so I tried to focus on the building melody throughout the piece while playing with rhythms and patterns.

A tribute to and inspiration from what may be one of the important milestones in gaming history.  No Man's Sky is a game currently in development that embodies what I've been trying to do musically for many years.  It seems fitting that I produce a something as tribute to this.
