Walls To Build (Mall Grab Remix)

The second episode of 'Love Me Some Friends' delivers some of the most experimental and beautiful sampled house music around right about now, while introducing two new members to the Moonrise collective.

Our featured A2 cut flaunts another downright ridiculous baseline from Moonrise debutante, Marc Bianco. In trademark style, Marc flirts with dusty disco, soul and funk samples coupled with smoothly swung percussion and contemporary quirks, resulting in a genuinely excellent and thought through piece.

The cold wind howled along the inside of the tunnel and she shuddered slightly beneath the strain of the chill. The mountain region was home to a flurry of short rocky pathways which went beneath the towering giants that loomed above. Carved into the rock these man made holes created an intricate crossing without the need for vertical climbing and exploration amidst the peaks. Amsterdam-based duo DJ Windows XP provide the next EP for Live Ones, serving up apple infused, sample driven rhythms that’ll pop cherries you never knew you had.

Some People Get It is a slow tempo track based on a melodic piano serie of notes surrounded by different backgrounds from several environments.

The biggest contradiction is that none of their music is actually produced on a Windows computer - and quite rightly so. What will
come next from the duo depends entirely on whether they finally decide to perform that software update.
