This past summer I had the unexpected pleasure to play b2b with Sisyphos very own David Silver. 

David was part of the Culture Trucking tour that had landed with us most unexpectedly. After we rearranged the accomodation, helped fix up a pre & after party and figured out how to mix the tour with the scheduled @input-sthlm event, David and myself figured we might as well play together and have some fun.

The result was a really cool back and forth mixing between housey, techy & breaky vibes while getting the floor warmed up for the main set.

1:今回のミックスはどこで録音しましたか。
ロンドン北部のホーンジーにあるスタジオで録音したよ。 

2:今回のミックスコンセプトを教えてください。
今回のミックスは、ニューアルバム『JOY』からの曲と、最近のリミックスを中心に構成させてもらったよ。さらに、最近、私達がよくクラブでプレイする他のアーティストの曲も新旧問わず使用させてもらった。

3:今後の活動はどうですか。
現在、新しい EP のリリースに向けて新曲を制作している。パンデミックの影響で長い間活動を休止していたけれど、暫定的にツアーや DJ ギグを再開しているんだ。また日本でもプレイできるのを心待ちにしているよ。

Being in the techno scene for 14 years, Adrian Gambin (@anxdanotherspacescsajha) is the founder and owner of Systolic records (@systolicrecords) which started off in 2016 focusing in anything between deep techno, ambient and dub. Spending a lot of time following artists and other labels, carefully listening to new releases, late in 2017 he started djing. Apart from owning a record label and djing, he also organized several events promoting in Malta, promoting new local talents and inviting over several international artists. The highlight in the music scene was in June 2019 when he organized an event in Haale, Germany just outside Berlin, with the help of Nuno Perreira and two Maltese artists, Giacinte and Spork played in this event. 

Thank you so much Adrian for this groovy dub techno mix full of wonderful tracks from @berg_audio that fit summer time perfectly.

Demure Dubcast #2 - SCSAJHA

At the beginning of January last year, Iron Curtis and I played a memorable all-nighter at Paloma Bar for which we decided to dig deep in our Broken Beat and Dubstep collection so that we could try to stay clear of the four to the floor. Of course, we ended up playing House and Techno as well :-)
This was a special night for multiple reasons, the most peculiar one being that this gig would turn out to be my last club performance before the pandemic...
This edit of the original 10-hour recording covers roughly the first four hours of our back 2 back. 
Special thanks to Finn and the Palomas for the invitation (and the recording!) and all the friends who showed up that night.
