It's been a while since my last studio mix, but I got a hot, genre bending mix in store for you here today. While the beginning and end serve as gateways to broader musical explorations and opportunities for some unexpected twists, the majority of the mix is firmly rooted in the deep house and minimal I've been enamored with for the last several years. Still though, there are different energy levels and moods explored within these two main styles as well, creating consistent variety throughout. This is a cerebral voyage that still knows how to have fun, and I think that's a great balance to strike. I hope you can enjoy this set as much as I do. Much love!

Spring Became Summer 2022

What is this word "Dendritic?" Merriam Webster defines it as such: adjective - den·drit·ic | \ (ˌ)den-ˈdri-tik- : resembling or having dendrites : branching like a tree. There was something about learning this word that stuck with a young college freshman taking environmental science and starting to learn how to mix electronic music on vinyl in the early 2000’s. It seems that this is the natural shape of growth in our world; many things branch out this way, and so would the young man’s music. Since the beginning, a variety of musical styles and moods of dance music has always been a key focus of the Dendritic repertoire of sound. You can expect to hear everything from minimal and deep house, breaks, trippy playa tech, tech house, dirty bass house, occasionally techno. Moving through different styles and sounds gracefully, with purpose, is an artform this DJ/aspiring producer takes seriously and continues to master.

After spending many years living in Austin, TX and becoming established as a solid music curator and technically focused DJ he made his move to Denver, CO in 2013. Years of going to shows regularly, continuously releasing new mixes, and building a home studio, have led to the artist more commonly known as Leo becoming established in the Colorado area as well. Most notably, he has shared the decks playing in support of Atish, Ardalan, Bruno Furlan, m.O.N.R.O.E., Qrion, Trikk, Yotto, and Tim Green. Continuing to DJ and share music, learning music production, and teaching others how to mix are what drives this dedicated creator.
