1) Introduce yourself? 

I’m Konstantin Morze — dj, producer and founder of OBERWAVE — the one and only label, community and party series dedicated to dark disco and other decadent music in Russia. In addition, I make Noir Bazaar parties that are dedicated to the dark side of Middle Eastern music. The most mystical, hypnotic and ominous tracks

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months?

I’m constantly surprised with how much great new music is around me. Each time thinking it’s the coolest thing that I’ve ever listened to. Then in a few months I’m impressed again. Women, music and alcohol — they are my favourite things and never fail to impress me.

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year?

In the new season I plan to drop my LP and a collection of Russian dark disco producer’s tracks. Then restart OBERWAVE parties in a new format, adding more show and theatricality to them. I’d like to make them more closed and more atmospheric.
