"wonder." is the song that took the longest time to make.

i started composing it back in july of 2021. i was crashing at my best friend's, ceres, place for a month. during that month, cat flew over to spend two weeks with us. one of those days was my birthday, and she gifted me a galaxy projector. one of the greatest gifts i've ever received.

one day, i was playing around with ceres's family's piano, and i came up with the main melody. the melancholic yet warm feel of it eased my soul during an, otherwise, uncertain and volatile moment in my life.

rolling with the melody, i remember further working on it in the middle of the night as cat was peacefully sleeping with the galaxy projector projecting the ceiling. i still remember the tender love i felt knowing that i have such wonderful, caring friends in my life. and how i wouldn't want anything else than to stay with them.

"wonder." is about appreciating how beautiful life can be when you have the right people in your life, and wishing for those relationships to last.

the ambient audio you hear in the song is cat and ceres laughing. i felt it was only natural to have them be a focal point in this song.
