I found this piano I worked on a while back while I was cleaning off my drive so that I could work on another song tonight. I thought it was sort of interesting to hear. Thought I'd upload it for fun, since I haven't put up anything in a while. :)

Drop-Silence Improv (2010)

This is a track that I wrote for Rd1 of the annual Nur Ein Songwriting Contest over at songfight.org. I ended up winning the round-yay! 
The title was 'The Average Circus' and the non-optional challenge was that we had to use something in the song that we pulled from the trash bin. Billy's Little Trip on mixing and mastering and he also added the broom. I'll blog more about this later-ly.

Baked Out of My Gourd: A Tragic Tale

This is the story of the Peacock and the Jay and it was a Circle of Titles song remixed for me by Billy's Little Trip. He gathered some readings of it and made them all crazy as a demo. It's a cool work in progress. It's on top of my submission for the Circle of Titles that we put out at songfight every year. That was just the instrumental of this. I'll put that up here later.

This was my best and least obscure (if longest) song of this Nur Ein VIII. The challenge was to use an existing songfight title SIGNIFICANTLY. My usage was significant, but only to the song, and only to me.
