The ninth chapter of the Redlight Visions series brings together two talented artists, Moritz and Renato (DE).

Moritz, a Liverpool-based DJ and producer, debuts on Redlight with two exceptional tracks: 'Hercules A' and 'Io'. Known for his releases on celebrated labels like Innervisions, Running Back, Diynamic, and London’s Fabric. Moritz continues to shape his signature deep, spacey soundscapes, infused with uplifting grooves.

'Hercules A' features soaring melodies with an indie-disco vibe, full of positive energy, while 'Io' revolves around a vocal clip that Moritz masterfully built into a dancefloor-ready anthem. The simplicity of his production process—favoring Ableton stock plugins and a "keep-it-simple" production approach—allows the tracks to remain raw, direct, and packed with emotion.

Renato (DE) joins the release and contributes the track "In & Out," which blends deep and minimal House elements, offering a subtle yet powerful groove. Renato’s refined approach provides a perfect complement to Moritz’s wide soundscapes.

Together, these three tracks embody the core values of the Redlight Visions series: forward-thinking, dancefloor-oriented music with depth and character.

Berlin-based artist Saints Café boats a standout 4-track release that perfectly encapsulates his evolving sound, blending deep grooves, rhythmic beats, and catchy vocal hooks. Hailing from Berlin, Saints Café has honed his unique style, drawing inspiration from an eclectic mix of genres — from laid-back Lounge Music to the rhythms of 90s Jungle and House music.

This release by Saints Café came to life during a period of reflection, as the artist questioned the direction of his music production. Having grown up with 80s and 90s House music, he decided to return to a more classic style, breaking free from the stereotypes tied to his DJ sets. Drawing inspiration from the diverse genres that shaped his upbringing, Saints Café delivers an EP featuring two distinct tracks that authentically represent his artistic identity.

This release kicks off with two original tracks, “Somebody” and “No Love Story,” both steeped in the rich essence of House Music. Expect groovy, driving baselines, layered with rhythmic beats, and infectious, hooky vocals that will stay with you long after the music stops.

To complement these originals, Saints Café offers two instrumental versions, allowing the deep, hypnotic elements of the tracks to shine in their purest form. 

Produced in his Berlin home studio, the EP reflects his hybrid analog and digital workflow, utilizing analog instruments for sound production. Sounds from the DSI Prophet Rev 2, the versatile Korg SV2, an electric piano often featured in his productions, adds rich vintage tones and creative basslines. Saints Café hopes this record inspires listeners to break free from conventions and explore their creative paths, producing what they truly desire.

The artwork is by LA artist Anelia Torres. Inspired by the vibrant culture of Los Angeles and her passion for Art Deco, design, and music, she creates uplifting pieces with a visual rhythm and flow, using color, geometric shapes, and forms to evoke a rhythmic, emotive, and sensual experience.

On October 29, 2024, a devastating storm swept through the province of Valencia and surrounding regions in Spain, leaving destruction and heartbreak in its wake. Flash floods surged through towns and cities, overflowing river channels, collapsing bridges, and leaving thousands stranded. The loss of life is already staggering, with the toll expected to rise as some remain missing. Homes, livelihoods, and entire communities have been severely affected.

For us at Redlight, this tragedy hits especially close to home. Founded in Picanya (Valencia) in 2010, our roots remain firmly planted in the place where it all began. Our friends, their families, and loved ones are among those affected, and we feel compelled to do whatever we can to help.

Our goal is to raise as much support as possible to provide relief for those impacted by this tragedy. We are committed to donating 100% of the proceeds equally among four local non-profit associations and charities currently working on the ground in Valencia, providing much-needed aid and support. Proof of donations will be shared with everyone who buys this release or any of the songs included.
