Ann Clue, the German DJ and producer and crew member of the label Fckng Serious travels from gig to gig and plays regularly at the most famous festivals in the world. Now she fulfills a fervent wish of her numerous fans and will release her first album with 10 tracks called "PRCPTN".
To avoid waiting of new music, Ann Clue decided to release four singles of the upcoming album within the next month. "Six For Gold" is the first track from the album to be released in March 2023.
„Six For Gold“ was produced with the intention of creating a track that works well both on festivals and in clubs. The beat in combination with the bass is a little layed back to serve the summer vibe, but the whole arrangement - especially the break - is more 4 to the floor.
That’s how it becomes very versatile for any type of electronic music gathering.
We at Fckng Serious are looking forward to a new release from Ann Clue after a long time and celebrate the single full of anticipation for the upcoming album.
It will soon be heard at Ann's gigs in Germany, France, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Chile, and among other places.

The EP begins in stunning fashion with title track ‘Space’, driven by stirring vocal effects that build up tremendously, later giving way to a punchy acid-laced climax. ‘South’ follows, a low-end tour de force. ‘Answer’ is already familiar to fans after it featured on DCR368 Live from Loveland and the track is a rousing peak-time weapon propelled by subterranean stabs. ‘Encke’ is deliciously mind-bending, led by heavy bass and distorted effects, before ‘Module’ follows providing a groovier, but no less powerful contrast.

Against a Dark Background – the full-length studio album from long-standing British techno duo, Spektre – will be released in early 2020 on Pleasurekraft’s esteemed Kraftek imprint.

Following their critically-acclaimed debut album Casting Shadows Without Light in 2010 and their sophomore outing Cyclic Operations in 2013, Against a Dark Background will be the third studio long-player from partners Paul Maddox and Rich Wakley, who have been producing together under the Spektre moniker since 2006.

Currently in the top five-selling techno artists worldwide and with over 500,000 streams per month on Spotify, Spektre have taken the electronic music world by storm over the past few years, with their forward-thinking productions and high-intensity live performances resonating with legions of loyal techno fans across all corners of the globe.

Talking about the forthcoming album, Spektre commented:

It had been over 5 years since the release of 'Cyclic Operations' when we first started work on the new album in earnest, so we wanted it to be a representation of how our music has evolved in that intervening period. The writing process itself was a lot more reductive than the previous two albums. We holed ourselves up for a few months and hammered out loads and loads of ideas, then filtered and refined the pool through playing them out and getting feedback from a few trusted pairs of ears, until "Against a Dark Background" began to crystallise into its final form.
