'Exile in H' is a great gathering of spoken poetry, illbient, electronic experimentations and field recordings. Its dark, heavy industrial / noise atmospheres occasionally reach liberating climax, moving the listener away from the initially induced torpor through explosive drumlines."

He alternates the usual techno understandings to a new structure of techno and captures groovy and minimal tones/ sounds for the audience.

We have designed this track as an ambient sound-scaping to create a setting of an underwater sanctuary as well as a feeling of being able to breath underwater; interwining the perceived reality with an indefinite number of possible realities. For meditation purposes, Sunken is specifically focused on the Sacred Chakra. The structuring and coordination of the sounds within aim to enable smooth transitions between the levels of consciousness, thus enhance and catalyze the meditation experience.

Live Release was an open call for sound pieces from the time of the global COVID-19 pandemic and a framework for listening together. 

In this time of caring distance, of prohibited physical gathering, of an intensified workday for some, an online everyday or a pause for others, of differences (economy, work, racism, illness, access to healthcare, vulnerabilities), of increased isolation, of a globally shared virus, we asked: What sounds are you listening to; what sounds are you producing; what conversations are you having and what languages exist for this? More than 50 people in 21 countries from around the world responded.

The pieces were first broadcast on May 25th on The Lake Radio.

The project was organized by Jenny Graf and Kirstine Mose with support from The Lake Radio and Droplet Radio. Thank you to all the contributors from around the world!
