Composed as a homework for Alper Maral's Electroacoustic Composition class, this piece is a compositional experiment by using a limited number of sine waves; in reference to the electronic music, composed in the late 60s as contradistinction to musique concrète. 

Harmonic construction of the piece is based on the proportional combinations of pitch sets which Stockhausen used in his piece "Studie 1". A sense of perpetual rise in terms of pitch is a reference to Jean-Claude Risset's "Mutations". This piece aims for giving listener a feel of instability. The sine-torsades settling into five different textures are meant to arouse a feel of unraveling, soon followed by transience.

My funny valentine

I put myself in a koala’s place and wrote a song today. I wanted to be the voice of those who can't speak, for those who couldn't survive in the forests. My prayers for Australia. 
A song devoted to all the forests and animals affected by the fire.
