Communion is aimed at bringing people together for the holiday season through a shared interest
of surreal,earthly and an uncanny assortment of music and sonic adventure, while bridging the
gaps between tradition and experimentation.

The fourth livestream festival organized by Nation label head Traxx features a deep lineup including DJ sets from the likes of Specter, Silent Servant, Ron Morelli, Turtle Bugg, Antal, Vladimir Ivkovic, I-F, Alex from Queens and live performances from Cardinal & Nun, Nursery To Misery, SSPS and more.

DNZ ist ein Urgestein der Dresdner DJ-Szene. Seit Anfang der 90er Jahre aktiv, hat er dabei von Techno bis Funk und von Hip Hop bis Jungle schon alle möglichen Genres erkundet und sich völlig zu Recht einen Ruf als wandelndes Musiklexikon und passionierter Plattensammler erspielt. Zugegebenermaßen haben hier sicher auch 20 Jahre Arbeit im eigenen Plattenladen Fat Fenders einiges Fachwissen hinterlassen.

Seinen Sets hört man diesen Hintergrund deutlich an - nie auf einen Stil festgelegt und immer mit unbekannten oder seltenen Perlen garniert, egal ob bei Solo-Gigs oder im Team mit der Funky Monkey Gäng. Mit großer Begeisterung und viel Herz für Musik vorgetragen, hat sich dieser Beat-Tausendsassa in den letzten 30 Jahren eine treue Fanbase erspielt und die elektronische Musiklandschaft Dresdens auch ein Stück weit geprägt. Wir freuen und ihn hier mit einem kurzweiligen und gewohnt abwechslungsreichen Set am Start zu haben.

DNZ - one of Dresden finest Dj's. 
Known for his versatile Style, whether it is Bass, Electronic, Hip Hop or soulful Funk, you can be sure he will knock you of your Feet! 
Dennis developed his love for Music from early on, having a Dad who played in a Band and a Sister who made him Dance! She was also the one who bought him his first ever Record in 1986.

Influenced by the GDR Radio Station DT64 Dennis got hungry, especially for the Hip Hop / Breakbeat / Hip House Radio Shows. Hence, he stepped into the Dj game around 1990. What once started as a Dj at a School Disco has become a serious Vinyl Business.

Since 2001 he is running the legendary world famous "Fat Fenders" Record Store in Dresden together with his good friend Fabian. No wonder that DNZ is always at the forefront and the first to play these hot Tunes. 

Today DNZ is sharing Stages with & supports Artists such as Jamie Lidell, DâM-FunK, James Pants, Flako, Thavius Beck, Daedelus and many more. He is also a Member of the "Tropenfieber" Crew and one of those Funky Monkeys at Altes Wettbüro. To be coninued...
