Slowing the tempo and having subtle instrumentation has given the vocals space to breathe.

My interpretation of this song is a story about distrust, loyalty and friendship. It is quite a somber tale. I wanted my take to mine that emotion from the lyrics, hence the minimal and spacey nature of this rework.

I do hope you enjoy this.
