ドイツの名門クラブTresorのレジデントも務めるなどベルリンのアンダーグラウンド･シーンで大活躍するMike Dehnert。2007年には純粋に自らのリリースを目的としたレーベル"Fachwerk"を立ち上げ、アーティストや関係者、世界中のコアなユーザーから注目を浴びることとなる。Len FakiやBen KlockによるBerghainの過去のミックスCDにも楽曲が収録されており、2011年にはResident Advisorの"Label of The Month"に選ばれるなどワールドワイドなブレイクが確実視されている。
BerghainやTresorなどの第一線で活動していることから、硬派な冷たいテクノを押し進めつつも、立体感を生み出すダビーな音響、廃墟のようなインダストリアル臭、徹底したミニマルグルーヴ、芯の太い強靭なサウンド、そのどっしりとした音の厚みでじわじわとハメるドープ・インダストリアル・ミニマル・ダブ・テクノ。良質レーベル"Clone Basement Series"、"Echochord Colour"、"Deeply Rooted House"からも多数リリース。そして、集大成として、ベストともいえるファーストアルバム「Framework」(2011年2月発売)を老舗レーベル"Delsin"からリリース。早くもその楽曲がLawrenceのミックスCDに使用されるなど注目を浴びている。
彼のストイックなまでの音楽性からもわかるように、有名になることよりも自らのスタイルを貫きとおしており、個人としてのDJやライブセット、"Fachwerk"レーベル創設者の仲間であるRoman Lindau、Sascha Rydellらとも活動を行っている。今後はアルバムリリースツアーも予定。進化する新時代のミニマルテクノシーンを牽引するアーティストである。

ートラックリストを教えていただけますか？

このミックスには未発表の僕や僕の友人のアーティストの楽曲がたくさん入っているんだ。だから今現在はトラックリストはないよ。

ーミックスに使用している機材を教えて下さい。

僕と友人たちからの、バイナルのダブプレートと未発表作品のCDをプレイしたよ。機材はSL-1200とパイオニアCDJ-900、ミキサーはXone-464を用いたよ。

ーこのミックスはどこでで録音したものですか？

ベルリンの僕のスタジオだよ。

ーもしご自身のトラックをプレイしていたら、それについて教えて下さい。
ミックスではいつも自分の曲をかけるよ。リリースされたものも、まだリリースされていないものもね。

ーミックスのコンセプトを教えて下さい。
最初はリスニング専用のミックスを作ろうと考えていたんだけど、いつもクラブでかけるようなセットに落ち着いたよ。

Based in Berlin, Alexey Volkov is a multi-faceted Performer, Producer and Event Curator. 
The Russian born producer/DJ has released dark, depraved EBM inspired techno on labels like Jealous God and Planete Rouge.
He delivers a textured, haunting and spatial trip through avant-garde territories, rendered with his signature take on modern EBM and strung with unreleased material.
