With the start of a new year upon us, we have the pleasure of welcoming back our friend Mahar to All Blak. Upon release, he discovered London's Pacha, sparking his deep involvement in the house scene. Since 2013, Benny's musical journey evolved, playing at renowned clubs and releasing tracks with a garage-influenced, smooth take on deep house.

After a successful label release on Lacuna’s 024 edition, we’re glad to welcome Benny back for a fresh guest mix.

Born and raised on the edge of London, Benny’s passion for house music started at a young age with his parents influence through the likes of David Moralez and Masters at Work.

The early 2000’s saw him develop a passion for graffiti culture which ultimately led to a brief spell of incarceration. On his release he discovered London’s Pacha; a club which opened his eyes to the house scene in the capital and beyond: religiously attending parties ever since.

2013 saw a serious shift in Benny’s musical ideology when he was gifted opportunities to play at clubs such as Egg, Pacha and Lightbox. His production skills have flourished since 2015 and a year later his first release came through Music Related Records. Numerous tracks later, Benny continues to make his mark on London and beyond with a garage influenced smooth take on deep house.

We're kicking off a huge 2024 catalogue with a massive V.A comprising of 8 big tracks. We focused on artists who we will see more of on the label in the future and also artists who were fundamental in building our brand in the past. His productions on esteemed labels like Frenzy, Sungate, and Mitsubasa explore sub-genres such as Dub, Detroit, Deep, Tribal, and Hardgroove, delivering a harmonious blend of energy and emotion.
Volpe's artistic roots are steeped in the rich traditions of Jazz, imbued with its complex chord structures and harmonization, steeped in Dub Reggae textures full of echo and reverb, and also deeply rooted in the rhythmic pulse of Afrobeat and Funk. He views himself as a synthesis of his musical influences and inspirations.
During his time in Berlin, Volpe has left an indelible mark on the city's renowned club circuit. Notably, he has graced the decks at Tresor and Globus, delivering closing sets that resonate with the crowd's energy. Additionally, his exploration of house music under the alias "Presence Of Mind" adds new dimensions to his sets, incorporating his diverse influences.
Looking ahead, 2024 holds great promise as Volpe unveils his highly anticipated live set, with a debut at Berghain, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. In addition to his performances, he has embarked on a new venture with his label, Transcend. Through this platform, he aims to represent timeless music that surpasses boundaries and eras.
Volpe's unwavering dedication to his craft and belief in the transformative power of music shines through in his carefully curated selections. With each performance, he invites audiences on a transformative journey, reminding us of the healing and unifying potential of music.

D&S is a collaboration between two Dutch producers Dennis Pors and Stephan de Bruijn that share their love for Detroit Techno

They know each other through their musical perspectives and share a similar taste for music. 

Before they work together, Dennis was more interested in making deep house and work with digital synths which gave him some experience with logic.

Stephan was well known with the detroit techno scene and has a true love for this music, especially music that is balanced with hypnotizing emotional feeling to it combined with atmospheres and a groove.

Soon enough they switched to analog gear to create a more cleaner en better sound. After three years of hard work, they have reached the sound they were looking for.

They have their Debut D&S - Desolation EP released on Arts and already supported by many artists like:
